“ The Kindergarden is interwoven with its natural surrounding and connected
by a timber landscape, nurturing curiosity and play”
KINDERGARDEN
EBBS, AUSTRIA
The design combines a calm formal language with a playful approach to the facade. A compact building volume establishes a functional base, creating an organized structure for the daily routines in the Kindergarden. Each group room is equipped with its own terrace, seamlessly integrated into beautiful surroundings and outdoor space. All spaces are linked by a warmly detailed, timber-clad spatial sequence—a flowing band that weaves interior and exterior spaces together, offering a variety of spatial experiences and nurtures exploration.
The terraces are carved into the building volume, allowing generous glazing to flood all interior and play areas with natural daylight. In the group rooms, large square windows with integrated seating provide inviting spots for observation, reading, and relaxation. Textile shading elements with colorful printed motifs enhance the façade with a playful touch, while also providing glare protection and creating a refined, atmospheric light quality inside.

wooden play-landscape into nature”
“Floor to ceiling glazing floods the general areas with natural light,
while bay windows provide an intimate nook for reading books and animate the facade”
