“A vibrant urban quarter centered around a transformative
neighborhood plaza“
THE INNPROMENADE QUATER KUFSTEIN, AUSTRIA
The ensemble is composed of three carefully articulated volumes, a hotel, a residential building, and an office building - conceived to create attractive public space at the ground level and optimize views within the units. The architecture engages its context through a calibrated stepping of mass toward the Inn river and an angled plan composition unfolding into a sequence of generous terraces and finely scaled public spaces.
The confluence of the Inn promenade and Salurnerstraße is reimagined as a continuous urban gesture, weaving the project seamlessly into the existing city fabric. At its heart, a vibrant neighborhood plaza, animated by a cafe, becomes a social condenser - a new anchor to the city that invites encounter, exchange, and everyday life.
The buildings are defined by softened geometries and gently rounded corners, lending them a sense of fluidity and approachability. A finely modulated timber façade establishes rhythm and tactility, while layered green roofs and planted terraces extend the landscape vertically. Together, these elements cultivate a warm, atmospheric presence, where architectural expression and environmental responsibility converge in a harmonious dialogue with the surroundings.
